WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is practical and effective. Hypnosis is a natural state of heightened awareness and focused concentration on relaxing, which then accesses the subconscious mind. When a client enters this subconscious state of awareness, there is an increased relaxation of the entire body and an increased susceptibility to suggestions for positive change. You are aware of everything around you. If a phone rings, you will hear it. If a car honks, you will hear it, too.
A suggestion works only if you accept it. You cannot and will not ever be compelled to do something which is in conflict with your personal, ethical, and moral values or religious beliefs.

WILL I BE HYPNOTIZED ON MY FIRST VISIT?
Yes, you will experience hypnosis at our first session. First sessions consist of an intake of information about you, your history and your reasons for seeking Hypnotherapy.
This session is approximately 2 hours, with the hypnosis portion being approximately 45 minutes. A complete explanation of the hypnosis portion is given as well as answers to why this process will benefit you. Customized positive suggestions, based on the information that you have given to me, are directly received by the subconscious mind for therapeutic change.
